Doris Apprentices are Shortlisted for Prestigious Award

Doris apprentices Harrison Hughes and Jason Faux have been nominated for the Aspire Achieve Advance Apprentice of the Year 2014 award, reflecting their commitment and hard work over the last 12 months. The nominations were made by the training provider that delivers the mandatory learning components of the apprenticeship programme. The awards ceremony will take place in London at the House of Lords on the 4th December.
Harrison and Jason are both employed as part of the Doris supported apprenticeship programme within the Cooperative Group. Jason’s role as a test analyst is centred within the Testing Department, whilst Harrison’s role as a desktop analyst involves delivering and supporting technology to colleagues and he plays vital role within the team.
Harrison said: “I am delighted to have been invited to such an event, I really appreciate the nomination and am looking forward to the day in London. I will relish the opportunity to represent Doris IT.”
Jason added: “When I found out I was nominated for apprentice of the year award, it was a bit of a shock! I always try to work to a high standard and submit a varied range of evidence to support my apprenticeship. All the hard work paid off!"
